I wrote a post the other day wondering what things were coming to when speech has to be changed because someone may be offended...now I do not mean using foul language...that's a given. But now, in one school in Seattle, you can't call an Easter Egg an Easter Egg...they're "spring spheres"...because, they say Easter Eggs have a religious bent...really? I've never seen them mentioned in the Bible as part of the story of Christ's Passion and Ressurection...have you? Alas, it must be because they use the word "Easter". If that word causes such offense, why wouldn't you call them what they are...eggs! But, bless them, the children weren't fooled for a minute!
